Picture time!!!
The case so far
Time to reveal my plan for the mobo cover Quite obviously it will be longer to cover the whole thing. And painted. Matt black, or maybe some other colour.
Going to have to cut and wiggle it a bit to make it go under the radiator
I quickly hopped on the bike and got some screws aswell today
As you can see they are nice allen cap screws, maybe I should polish them *rubs chin*
And the cover out of the case
Basically the case so far, excuse the dust *i wonder how that got there, lol*
Back to my grilles
That's it for now, must get a bigger sheet of aluminium and make the panel, properly Then cut some holes in it, add some GREEEN yarr, I'm so hyped

If you read, and didn't look at the pics only you'd have seen that I will paint the panel.RobThePyro wrote:Nice! looks good!... I like the mobo cover idea, but i dont like the finish, maybe if you are getting new aluminium, you could brush it for that "brushed" look otherwise polish it for that super shiny aluminium we all like! lol...
Nice radgrill!
Rob.
But thanks for the comment
LOL! It's sooo easyDAE_JA_VOO wrote:Dude, how the HELL did you bend the alu like that?! It looks incredible!
And yeah, i agree with Jeff, that grille is looking mighty fine dude
I'll show you guys when I make the full panel later today

I'm not a robot am I? *looks around suspiciously*silv3rback wrote:Was also wondering that, about the alu... looks like its been bent by a machine or something 8O
You're going to need a crowbar to detach me from that case if someone tries to "take" itinf3ct10n wrote:OMW Wik... its time to move on m8, just give it up... hand over the case I actually.. omg, wow its looking AMAZING man very well done! cant wait to see more (before i get it) *cof*
I can't wait to finish this case, and it all goes well I might even be able to take it to rAge this year
Thanks Dean, and thanks for posting in all 3 my logsDeanMF wrote:Again, nice work mate!
Close, but no cigarhaja wrote:Nice man, very nice.
My guess is he just bent the aluminium over a small pipe (looks about a 40-50mm diameter) to get a nice even and straight bend.
Thanks man, glad you like itVenomous wrote:Thats Looks Cool man Nice the carbon effect

Can you say ALUMINIUM?!
To show you size of the sheet, I left my bike in the background
Some basic tools needed for this next task
Drawing some straight lines
Now, the surprise, a scissor? :\
Yup, I cut the alu with a pair of good ol' scissors
After a while I decided, screw this, and whipped out the dremel
Rough cut made
Then, my all secretive bending jig
I just clamp it on to the edge of this table, easy as 1 2 3
Then the cover test fitted, some adjustments still needed
Lots of space left inside
Thats it for now, happy modding
