CAD v CG

Post by jee »

What is the difs between CAD and CG? What would apps like photoshop do? CG? C.A.D - more architecture?
"Integrity" and "integer" both contain a Latin root meaning "whole; complete." The root sense, then, is that people may be said to be acting with integrity when their beliefs, words, and actions have a sense of unity or wholeness.

well if you wiki then you see that CG is actually anything to do with computer graphics... stuff done in PS, 3D Studio Max, Maya, RayDream... all those apps present you with CG works...

C.A.D. as you say it there, yeah refers to more architecture based things... stuff engineers and architects model...

I also always thought that CG, as they always mention CGI in movies, would refer to stuff that is computer generated and added into movies... didn't think that CG actually refers to anything designed on the pc in above mentioned programs...

well this is just how I see it and would also be glad if someone can explain bit more on what it would be...

my assumption came from the fact that the place CGWallpapers, use anything either modeled or drawn...
