Does anyone know a website where you can get South African stock quotes? I've tried Yahoo and Bloomberg, here is an example company you can try: Famous Brands, list name FBR.

Thanks - I tried but did not find anything. I have tried a similar tactic before, Google usually comes through for me, but not this time. Also more specifically, in Vista sidebar there is a "Stock Quotes" gadget. I want to be able to get South African stock quotes displayed in that gadget - i.e. get stock quotes to the desktop. Google Stock Quotes, Yahoo Finance etc. only do the big international markets. For example, on the JSE Famous Brands is listed as FBR. If you search for FBR in Google, you get the stock quotes for the company listed on the NYSE.

Have you tried searching sites in SA only?
