...I am talking about PCFSA vs PCFUK...

Actually compare an issue of PCFSA from 1998 to one of today and you'll see how much has changed! I remember my first few issues, from '98, had some of the most interesting articles and game reviews in them ever! Then slowly PCF went down...

Back in 1998 no cover model was needed, I remember the one cover just had a tank from Battlezone on it, and the mag was still an excellent read! Also the editors and fellow readers respected each other when they wrote in. Then slowly cover girls started being used (don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining about the cover girls, it kept me buying, also check out my other post! ), though writers who wrote in and griped about something got flamed, possibly in an attempt to provide humor for readers and mask the way PCF was going down?

It was as if by flaming people it showed that those people should have respect for what PCF is, yet these were people who were fans of the original PCF and they were getting flamed for voicing there opinions about where PCF was heading!

It's any wonder why more people are saying NAG is better nowadays?

I know lol! It didn't even have a cover CD, let alone a cover DVD! But they sure have improved!

I personally think PCF has improved from the oldest one I have, which is issue 50. Mars was editor back then and there were already covergirls, but I personally think Tamsin did a better job than Mars. Never did like him a lot. Imho Tamsin was the best Ed so far, will have to see how Stacey fares in the coming months; she has been Ed for too little time to tell whether she will improve on the mag's greatness. Until then, I am satisfied with what I get out of PCF. One thing nobody can argue about: The coverdisc has improved over time... Keep it up Cameron!

As a matter of interest ... does anyone have the sales figures for NAG and PCF? Nothing better in settling this argument that seeing raw sales data ..

I have a funny feeling that NAG outsells PCF?

For what it's worth (and for stirring the pot), NAG is Proudly SA and all content is written for NAG as opposed to sourcing it from elsewhere (No, I'm not opening the UK content debate). I say "well done" to NAG for competing against and even beating some of the overseas mags. IMHO NAG is in a class of its own ...

Personal preference I guess ...
