I agree with DeMoN, Windows is the biggest virus ever written and marketed. Very often you get a call from a buddy, "Hey man, my pc won´t work, it says HIMEM.SYS is missing" or some other file. Well load your pc in your car and off you go. Look in the where the file is, sure enough, there it is? HMM you think, maybe it has somehow become corrupted, copy the file from your pc, cause you are running the same windows. Reboot. Guess what "IT IS NOW SAFE TO TURN OFF YOUR PC" HUH?!?!? . So you reinstall windows.

What I want to do is install windows with graphics and sound drivers, you know a fresh install with winzip etc going. Regscan /backup and copy the windows and program files directory´s to cd´s and then just copy them back in dos and run regscan /restore. Should work?!
Replying to Eagle´s question with something that has nothing to do with XP. FYI ghost is a program which makes an exact replica of your entire system onto a seperate, spare harddisk. The program is run from any version of windows supporting it, as well as MSDOS.
So you see, your question is entirely irrelevant in the current context. I will say this however:
In order to truly love or hate something, you must have a very good understanding of it. I do not feel that my knowledge of XP is sufficient enough to love it. Just as I feel that my knowledge of Linux is not enough to love it. That is why I dualboot these two because they both complete my current computing needs.

[ Edited by Wolverine On Date
September 14, 2002 ]
