Rapidshare.com

Post by Millenium »

Was just wondering...Am i the only one in south africa that cant download from http://rapidshare.com ? Ive tried so many times but I always get some kinda lame error. When rapidshare.de was still running I could OCasionally still download from it. But since it went down and rapidshare.com came up, i CANT download anything from rapidshare anymore.

Is there anyone else here with this same problem?

Rofl if you think rapidshare is piracy then you should read their TOS once and a while XD all the kewl render packs and brushes for Gfxing is usually uploaded there....what did YOU think i was downloading from there?
And as for a premium account, with the rand being so crappy up against the pound I doubt that will EVER happen

lol.....piracy XD
If only simplicity was that simple...

If you're going for free RS then forget it. If it's hosted on RS.com you'll almost never get a dl slot. If it's at RS.de then it's 50/50 to get a tocket and once you get a dl ticket it's a 50/50 whether you'll get an invalid session or not.

Go for premium and just download whatever youwanted but when that's done and you want make your money spent worth it, you might just fall into the deep dark underground...

There are ways to by-pass rapidshare's system. Some special browser commands, and some special programs.

They don't always work and that ip trick takes so long the download becomes stale. Greasemonkey doesn't work either and finding the right proggie is risky.

There's a command that disables java script which helps. I also use the Rapidshare golden pack

There are loads of way around getting a free premium account!

There are websites with scripts which by pass the RS.com download system and give you a direct link with resume and no IP restricts. The link only lasts a few hours though. But that should be fine as you dont get files bigger than 100MB and most people who will download big files from there will have at least a 384 connection. :P

I have a premium account which expire on the 29th of this month. I want to share it with someone but in return I want that person to download a program for me which is about 3Gig. The reason why I can't download it myself, is because I only have a dial-up connection and it would take me ages. Then I want the person to post that program to me using the post office. I want a person that I can trust because I buy a rapidshare account every month and I'm willing to share it with that person, because I'm only downloading ebooks and mp3s. Any trust able person can send me an email at wesleybok@yahoo.com
