Macromedia Studio - Which version????

Hi all,

Im a bit confused here! Is Macromedia Studio MX older than Macromedia Studio 8?? I always thought MX was the latest but I just went on to Macromedia's website and it looks like its the opposite. Studio 8 is the latest! Can anyone confirm this????

Wheres that hand hitting your forehead icon??? dont I feel like a fool thinking Im using the latest! Gotta uninstall MX...and add 8! So please explain to me, why call the one MX, and then thelater one version 8??? It makes no sense!! Surely version 8 should have been named MX 2 or something?? Its confusing!
