I have the Creative HQ-1700's, they are absolutely brilliant, they pick up the highs, and the bass so well... One of the best sets I have ever used.

O ya :D Forgot to mention, I am finicky about how they sit on my ears. I can't stand it when my ears get hot  . I was looking at those Creatives :)

well, my one insulate your ears quite a bit. There is a set from Logitech that has holes between the cups and the speaker itself, so you get airflow... I personally like my extraneous noises drowned out, so I love my ones... plus they have a suede type cloth, instead of leatherette... so no sweating :)

Ok I see. But those Logitechs are AWFUL! I have creative HN-505s atm and they ROCK! The sit ON your ears, not around, but are very good noise cancelling. Just like crappy quality and short cable. AND VERY VERY loud:D

lol, then you should love the HQ-1700's... Quality really is unbeatable. Only prob is I have one of those earrings in the top of the ear, and these sit on my earring, so if I wear them for like 4 hours straight, it gets uncomfortable... That is the only gripe I have with them. A friend actually bought them for me, when he bought his, he said they were so close to his other set (R5000 set) that he just had to buy them for me. So really, you will be impressed... oh yeah, and the fact that they dont have an inline volume control, so I have to set volume in windows, but its a small price to pay for quality.

you wont regret it... just try them on in a shop for comfort just in case. But if you like quality, I promise they are seriously good.

I have this set. It's oaky but there's something very better :D From Carl.

I think it was this. Oh my goodness I listened on them at Carls place...the bass is NUTS. The quality is extremely good and the best of all. You can't hear mom screaming at you.

Hey W1k, you have any idea where one would be able to get their hands on a pair of those Altec Lansing headphones? That AHS515? I've been looking on the net for it, but can't find any place that sells it... (I'm not even sure if its available in SA)
