(PS: Try Bench the Prescott Process against the AMD64 on the New Nforce3 250 chipset) it takes AMD64 to a new level :)
I would have to take your word for that since I only had the I64 for 'bout a week to play around with. Have to say though that one can play one hell of a UT2003 game on that box without even having a HW GFX card to do the graphics. The I64 has enouth power to do all of the graph and still run the AI ands.

With a lot of patience and tweaking, I've been able to get my Athlon XP 2400+ 266FSB to boot into WinXP in 34 seconds...

Hey I got that without tweaking but then again I have enouth RAM to load the whole XP Pro into memory and still have some spare (just a thaught).

The I64 boots the 64bit version of XP in under 5sec (No ******). That has to count for something.

Hell I don't buy I get stuff to play round with. i never baut a pc in my life. From my first two compers (Commadore and a ZX Spectrum) I got them from various resellers as an add for the stuff they sell. My dad has always been in the higher orders of IT in bug huge humungus organizations. So what happens, ppl tend to give away alot of things in order to try and induce a couple of big sales. The place he is at now has over R23million worth of HP servers in their server room. That still excludes the testing environment which is in essence a duplicate of their live system (Oh yeah and dont forget about all of the SGI, Apple and Integraph machines throughout their system). Now Imagine what a big IT company like Datacentrix, Centera, Titan ands. will go to in order to get into their good books. Their smallest purchase to date has been around 1.2 million and that was for software lisences.
