like someone is inflating numbers on these forums (not just this one). Cos really, when you look at the newest member area, and see their names, you are almost guaranteed to never see that persons post. So to gain advertising, you can say we have so many members, meanwhile you really dont.. I am sorry if it comes across like I am accusing board admin of fraud, that is not my intention, but the thought crosses my mind..

I'd have to disagree with that statement, I think some people go out of their way to assist somebody who they have never meet, purely to help someone out.

And that's fine, too - I'm not saying you have to welcome everyone as they join (I don't have the time, either). All I ask is that the existing members help others where they can instead of fighting among each other.

The reason why people join and dont post is because they join as a friend told them to join and then they just join for the heck of it and find it boring and forget about it. (Iv done that a few times! Almost did that here!)

it's funny that this happens every few months some one makes a new thread about the x number of users that joined or is going to join and then some says but they don't post or your not doing a good job welcoming the new members and then some one defends his or hers right to diss new members because they have to earn respect blah blah....this is getting tiresome and frankly I don't care if 500 billion members joins this forum. Point is that is forum is unfriendly to new comers.

Because 1 they ask dumb questions.

2 Don't follow forum rulz.

3 New comers tend to diss olders members on the forum with their know it all attitude

4 They ask extemely dumb questions.....

So enough already with 20th billion member gets a free prize.(a snoty comment)
