DVD Playback

Post by Gary »

Hi. I was wondering if anyone could help. My computer specs are: 800MHz Duron processor, 440 Megs Ram, 16 X DVD with PowerDVD 3.0, and a Geforce4 440MX graphics card. I have installed all appropriate drivers, etc and am still getting jumpy playback from the DVD. It is really annoying and am not sure what to do. Has anyone got any bright ideas. Thanks in advance. Gary.

DVD Playback

You forgot to say what DVD drive it is. If it´s an AOpen like mine, then you can download the latest firmware update from their site. Any other drive might also have firmware updates on the Net. You should also say if your graphics card works fine or have some problems in other applications as well. Is the DVD software using your graphics card´s native DVD hardware support for playback? <IMG SRC="images/forum/smilies/icon_confused.gif">
