Best 128 MB card?

Post by rookei1 »

Ive currently got a GForce 2 Pro 64MB. Is it worth upgrading to a 128 MB card and if so which is the best for under R3500? Im looking at the Sparkle SP7200T4 GeForce 4 4400 128Mb. What is it like?

How much is the 4400 Ti gonna cost you?
I would rather get the Ti4800 its far more value for money its under 3g´s!
I got the MSI ti4200 for 2500 its a great little card!
If you shop around I`m sure you`ll pick a 9700pro for 3500 bucks!

The Radeon 9700 does cost alot, i would personally go with a geforce fx if i had that kinda money or the lower 4800 which is an amazing card and wont cost you a months worth of food

I found a leadtek winfast A280 for +-R4200 at regality. Do you know a cheaper place? I think a 9700 is definatly out of my league though. Its too expensive!!

Does the comany that makes the card really make a difference? Like Gigabyte and Leadtek?
Is it the same card? Perhaps not the chaintech one. You should check the bundle it comes with. I can get the OEM cards for much cheaper if you prefer them. IMHO the OEM cards are a bit on the lacking side, so thats why I stick with the brand names and know that I don´t get any comebacks.
