people who sell second hand pcs for ridiculous prices

scanning through the cape-ads and other classified material, it amazes me to see what people are trying to sell their 2nd hand pc´s for. For example a person trying to sell their 350mhz pc for R3000, are they insane. I can go into a shop and buy a athlon xp 2000, 256mb ddr266 sdram and a geforce 3 ti200 128mb ddr plus all the extras for 4999 and in the paper i see people trying to flog a 1.3ghz for 6000, i wonder do people actually pay these prices for their second hand computers, pleez tell me if any of you have been conned into buying a pc that is not even worth half the price. The only mistake i ever made was buying a second hand hardrive which died like a month later rip.

<BR>the biggest rip off i ever saw in a ad was somoone asking 3000 for a 486 with a printer oooohhhhh, a printer as well great m8.

yeah i know its crazy they dont know what they are doing. a freind i know baught a p3 800mhz with gefroce 2 mx, sound card, 20gb hdd, no monitor and a 56x cdrom. all for the amazing price of R8000

<BR>The scary part is that when they ask you what you think then they still think that they got a bargain... and if you try to help them then they want to bliksem you cause you wanna burst they bubble and did not help them before... Thats all true you guys are saying ppl really get rip off. But most of them are pc illterate. And when they go to pc shops they also over charge the general consumer, and then they try second hand. But on the up side sometimes when you damn lucky you´ll might get a nice bargain.
