Nvidia Drivers

I downloaded the new Nvidia drivers 43.sumthing for my GeForce 4 440mxSE and too my surprise lost about 12 framessec in unreal 2003 and Toca Race Driver was almost unplayable with so low frame rates, and this is on a 2200+ mhz, whats with that!?!? All my games run alot slower with these drivers. <IMG SRC="images/forum/smilies/icon_evil.gif"> I resorted back to my old drivers 30.sumfing and everything runs perfect!!!! <IMG SRC="images/forum/smilies/icon_mad.gif">

i had the same prob dude.
 i rolled back my drivers and the problem went away.
 
 I clean installed XP the other day and tried the latest detonator drivers 43something again and they worked fine.
 i even got 23 more points on benchmark <IMG SRC="images/forum/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif">

 I experienced the same problem and my 3DMark score dropped by about 300 points until I downloaded and installed the latest version of DirextX - version 9.0a. Now I get a marginal increase of about 100 points.

I had no Problem with the driver.
 My games seem to run better especialy generals!
 You guys do know that these are the DirectX 9 drivers so you have to have Direct X 9 installed to get the full benifit of the drivers! <IMG SRC="images/forum/smilies/icon_smile.gif">

I am stiill running Win 98 SE and I had another problem with the 43.45 drivers. My Microsoft games like: RalliSportChallenge, will not work. It says that I need a graphics card with T & L. Duh!! I have a GF4 TI 4400. So I rolled back to the older drivers and it worked fine. I guess that it has something to do with the fact that 98 drivers are not WHQL tested any more.
 
 Note to self: Ungrade to a newer OS!! Like 2000Pro or XP. Damn!! If only they were not so expensive!!
 
 PS: I have the latest DX 9 on my PC: DX9.0a, updated from Microsoft with windows update. [ Edited by Mephesto-AF- On Date April 08, 2003 ]
