3D Mark 2006
Hello Everyone,
Here is a first for South africa 7k is history. I have done that with single core cpu, FX55 @ 3100mHz, will be testing with my 4800 dualcore quite soon, just awaiting some di-electric grease.
Should be getting northwards of 8500 when running dualcore, I am estimating closer to 9k. Will keep you posted.
Note my score is with valid Futuremark approved drivers

You taketh righteth....
Anyway, here is my 4305 Abit Fatality/4800dualie/Asus 7800GTX single card score.
Dirty install, non-FM approved drivers, all components deadstock.
All I wanted to see is what score I would see on the cpu, and based on that, everything else being equal in my Vapo rig, removing FX55 @ 3100mHz, dropping in the 4800+ at stock 2400 speeds, we will be seeing:
Formulas:
GS for hardware capable of running all tests = 0.5 x (SM2S + HDRSM3S)
GS for hardware capable of running only SM2.0 graphic tests = 0.75 x SM2S
3dMark Score = 2.5 x 1.0/((1.7/GS + 0.3/CPU Score)/2)
i.e 2.5 weighted harmonic mean of GS and CPU Score
for FX55:
GS for hardware capable of running all tests = 0.5 x (3823 + 3625)
3dMark Score = 2.5 x 1.0/((1.7/3724 + 0.3/1194)/2) = 7064.6 = true
Now, substituting my 4800+, with 1800 vs 1194 cpu score:
GS for hardware capable of running all tests = 0.5 x (3823 + 3625)
3dMark Score = 2.5 x 1.0/((1.7/3724 + 0.3/1800)/2) = 8023.6
So, the 4800 dualcore at 2400mHz will give me close to a 1000 points higher in 3dM06 than a FX55 @ 3100mHz.
Interesting

Nice score Solo, i manage a measly 6233 with my setup
I think i should trade my 2x 7800's for 1x 7900 when it comes out
