Speed fan Temps

I was wondering if anybody could help me i downloaded speed fan it works fine but one of the temps (temp3 ISA $290) reads 69 while the others (1 & 2) read 30-40.Is this just an error or what?I have Nf4 mobo and the Nf4 chip has a heat sink on it that gets too hot to touch could it be this?tanks

Well, if a heat sink is to hot to touch then it normally means that it's temp is above 55 (Rule of burned fingers).

So that 69 could very well be the Nf4 chip (Or it might just be a unconnected temperature sensor). But since you said the chipset is to hot to touch, I would say that the 69 must be the chipset.

Speedfan gives me a funny temp too. One of my temps is about 12, and another, believe it or not, is -12. I dunno what that's about.
