Does 3D MArk 05 (free one) have glitches ?
My one friend has some Leadtek 6600 TD something like that and he has a 3.2 Intel and a gigabyte extreme performance motherboard and he only gets 2400-2500.
Hes says taht his actual gaming performance is much better compared to his 3D Mark 05 score and he says 3D Mark 05 has lots off problems.
Is any of this true?

I am a guy so please people stop sending me these shady pm's and start playing computer games or bodybuilding. Forums aren't a good place to get chicks the gym is...
No truth in that... In a way that is =)
Fact is: 3D Mark 05 is not for the faint hearted and lets face it: the Leadtek 6600 TD is not of the better cards money can buy either. In fact, I'll go as far as saying that its quite a bit below what we call "midrange" cards. It more in the budget range...
Anyway, gaming wise its a good deal, and I'm sure you can play "most" games at respectable resolutions with good framerates.
So its "ok" for gaming, but a no-no for benching.

Hey there Tiza.... Your friend need to make sure that he did load the patch with 3D Mark 05 as well, and I'm sure that might help a bit. Another thing...if you bench, what you can do, and many ppl do in any case is to set the detail in your display control panel to performance, instead of quality...it should most likely give him a couple points more. Yup the 6600TD might not be brilliant, but in the end, if it works in the games, then who cares. I mean to take a card that would cost you 800 to 1000 rand and compare that with newer tech that's about 5 times that price is also not a wise thing to do. I'm sure with a bit of tweaking your friend should be able to up that score a bit....Tiza wrote:Does 3D MArk 05 (free one) have glitches ?

Leadtek 6600 TD is a non GT right then if a GT scores 3300+ then 2200+ for a non gt is right, nothing wrong with it.
