DotA players VOTE!

Post by Souless »

DotA ...we all know it 8) , we all love it :D (well I'm asuming you play dota if you are looking at this post  )

I would like to know what Hero(6.12b) is your favarite and why?, what items to you like going for and do you play online or not? :)

Hero: Sand King
Type: Strength
why: It is strong from the start with his *impale spell and can kill creeps easily with his *Exploding orb spell  . It can also evade death using it's *sand-storm spell what makes it invisible and damages unit in the visintiy of the storm  .Oh..its ultimate *Epicenter ..nuf said :!:
online: sumtimes (east & local  )
items: power treads,Heart x 2(orb effects don't stack..basically the Satanic or Eye of Skadi won't work), MKB,Buriza,Linken Sphere(mana Regen)

OK I know this topic is kinda lame, but I was bored and maybe, just maybe thier are other peeps who bored like me who would find this kinda humurous(If you not A DotA player...don't even bother :) )

Its kind of a toss up btwn:
Rylai the Crystal Maiden and
Krobelus the Death Prophet

both are really good range heroes and both can spam like crazy esp. Krobelus (Carrion Swam + Witchcraft)
Rylai's awesome with Frostbite and her level 6 (Freezing Field) gets pumped up when u've got an Aghanim's Scepter (that was in v6.12b, you cant use this item with her anymore :( ) and a Dagger of Escape

You should check out v6.19
Strygwyr the Bloodseeker (he came in v6.13 if im not mistaken) is ulber crazy. His level 6 (Rupture) is not the best thing to get hit with even if ur on full health. unless u have Lothar's Edge (for windwalk) but then make sure he doesn't have a gem of true sight

God damn, 6.19 already? I just downloaded 6.18, and I've only played one game on it! ffs.

Anyway, we always play -ar, makes for a far more challenging game. Unless you get Ursa Warrior against some pansies, then it hurts.

Nope - I have no idea what DotA stands for. Please enlighten me, cos it sounds interesting from all the descriptions.

please hang on while i keel over..... 8O

are you trapped in the chasm of your own version of reality??

its a warcraft 3 map! but most think of it more as a mod.... as it's so versatile!

anyhow.... its hero-based (duh) and its really cool. u should try it!

oh and my fav is the hydralisk dude! (not sure his precise name, but hey)

coz his poison ward regens so quikly and serves as a gud distraction. Also its ultimate is one of note!
Everyday, I browse the forums just to make sure that there still are people more pathetic than me.

Love the deathbringer, with all his poison attacks, its a beautiful thing when u gain a kill when an opponent is on the otherside of the map fleeing for safety.

I used to enjoy Naix - cause I was a N00b and Naix is relatively easy to play with, but I'm starting to enjoy Prophet. Really a support hero, he has the teleport/blink spell - which kicks a$$ cause if u r about to get ganged u just teleport back to the fountain, or save a teamie on the opposite side of the map. He also has a tree spell that traps opponents for a few seconds - highly annoying when playing against Prophet! But works well when coordinating with team mates - don't get many kills - but helps in the whole team play thing a lot!! Lots of fun - only thing, DotA eats so much time! Usually a game lasts between 45mins to 1 hour, but my longest is 2hours!! Was very balanced!

Sadly, you miss out on the XP tho. They really need to fix that.

The Doombringer's Ultimate -Doom- has been seriosly nerfed in the latest versions of DotA

It does just over 1000 dmg fully leveled up...but I must say the new hero -The Bloodseeker- is one insane hero ...it is becoming my fav fast :)
