You can forget about recording your pirate movies to VHS...

They are encoded at a low resolution - so transferring them FULLSCREEN to a already poor quality VHS tape won´t be pretty.

This, along with the fact that the TV encoder isn´t quite up to scratch, so unless you start using higher res material, and dedicated equipment, you won´t have any luck

Thanks blikkie
It wasnt really the answer I was looking for so let me elaborate (larney words)
I want to take home videos then edit them and the send one movie consisting of all the clips put together with a bit of music.
The encoding should be all right????as its not downloaded stuff ,the reason for putting it back to vhs is to make a few copies then sell them
Ta hope it sort of explains what I want to do
cheers

I also have a geforce 4 ti. What software are you using to get the VI (Video In) to work?
I tried pluging up my VCR to pc but can`t seem to get a full screen picture! The Reason why I want to do this is so that I can use the VCR as a TV decoder.

I tried encoding some music videos and then burning them to CD as SVCD they look realy cool when watched on a DVD player, but take for ever to encode with the program I`m using! may be that could be a solution to your problem!

[ Edited by SnowMonkey On Date
March 06, 2003 ]
