Bit torrents work really well when you have REAL broadband.

The thing is it doesn't belong to me. But I don't mind using it. I have been told its a 10Mbit connection. But the best I've tested on it was about 2.1Mbit down. I assume it depends on the other users on this network. My bit torrent program runs downloads at up to 160kB/s and upload was 305kB/s but then I limited the upload speed to 75kB/s  :satisfied:

I know its easy to do, but when I refreshed I also pressed ctrl to keep it from loading from the cache. But if you still don't believe me... :sigh: What would it take to convince you?

Download a file from the net using Internet Explorer and then take a screenshot when it is about half-way done. That should be pretty accurate.

Holy Crap, I must get my friend in Hong Kong to do a screenshot of his company's 1Gbit connection. It usually maxes out at 400Mbits because his Hard-drive can't keep up with all the use while he is working.

Download all the illegal things in world and send them to me on a 400GB HDD!!!!!!!!! (or 100 of them)

I guess you could just say that you are beta testing telscums new 1024KBps ADSL line.......

But due to a NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement) you probably not allowed to say....

(i'm being sarcastic BTW)

You are right about the NDA but I can tell you I am testing a technology that isn't ADSL. It is wireless but is not Wimax like the other tests going on...

By illegal things I hope you mean download movies and games and anime and other similar things through BIT torrents inside Telkom, which I think is a bit ironic, and then bring it to you? :lookround: :lookround: :stern: :bigups: OK
