I wanted 1GB of RAM, but *****ty South Africa wants a f... load for that, Falcon-NW, for example, only want 100$, but it costs 700$!! for them to ship a PC to SA.
<BR>I saved up for about 6 months for this PC, so don´t bring it down...

and spray painting the drives isnt too dificult . . . . youshould give it a bash, an all black case looks sweet. i should know. i spent two weeks spray painting my whole case plus drives everything black to get nice smooth finish. work intensive but its worth it.

nice PC Dude.I just upgraded aswell,but am looking for a new Graphics card.Like a Gf4 Ti4400,or maybe the 4600.but again.NICE PC.

Only thing that I can think of that would be better than having your pc would be having an entire network of your pc! LAN gaming must kick major bottom with that muther of a pc!

u talk ***** phate...the grafix alone is 6000 plus 3000 for the cpu and a couple of bob for the 17 lcd monitor..thats already above 10 grand without all extras and stuff...so dude...check ure facts..and i just saw a post by u where u sy u getin a far inferior system to this guys for 12 grand...so get ure head outta the clouds and back in ure bottom where it belongs

phate dude - i dont wanna be as rude as the guy before me but id like to say that a 17" lcd monitor alone is probably above 8 grand so it is very doubtful that youd get the pc for 10grand even without the monitor cos the 9700 pro card is around 6 grand alone

i got the same mobo and ram and proc. as u...my temp stays around 52 under load like a game or summin, but on the hot days this summer my cpu pulled around 65-70 under a game...so ure temps look fine

I live in durban the temp has been about 35 - 40 the past few weeks and my cpu temp has`nt never stepped over the 58 C mark. That is after a week end of intence gaming!
<BR>That is with the case on! If I take a side panal of its sits between 53 - 56C.
<BR>I think yours´Grey Hound´ runs a bit hot!

Looks Like a good choice in graphics! Although you will never see it shine with sd ram! Get rid of that and get @ least 256MB DDR. To really check if your rig can run games well, run 3dMARK 2001. Its on one of the PC format cover disks or <!-- BBCode u2 Start --><A HREF="http://www.futuremark.com/" TARGET="_blank">here</A><!-- BBCode u2 End -->
