How much will it cost?
the other thing i know Darwin will run on a PC will Panther do the same?

Thanks for the info bondi. always more than reliable :)

As you know I am not a windows fan but hey, lately neiter are the directors of the company I work for. SWhen I got there I got asked to look at a replacement for their exchange servers. So in went sendmail, all their mail problems went out the window (excuse the pun). Now they love linux so much they want us to look at replacing all the windows OS's for all the desktops in the next 6 to 12 months. Since linux is not exacly something I would want to put infront of a user who has used windows for the last 3 years and is still clueless, I am sure you can understand my worries. I was looking at a mac alternative, but I don't see them forking out cash for 250 Mac machines since the lowest spec box there is a P4 1.7Ghz they are still pretty new. So I am sure you can understand that I am looking for something that will run on a Intel PC. I will look at Jaguar and take a closer look at Darwin. Might also have a look into Lindows, But I am not sure about it as I share simular views as you do on the product.

Thanks for the response bondi I have tons of work ans research ahead of me (this is the stuff I live for) I am in Jhb if I am ever down in Ctn I will let you know maybe we can have a beer or something.

Thanks bondi, I've read enough to "Switch" :D

When my next boat comes in...

I get to keep my Logitech Cordless Optical Mouse :D my HP Printer :D my HP Scanner :D so I save a little... I don't find any references to Creative though, I have an Audigy 2 :wink:
