what is the cheapest full-time internet access

what is the absolute cheapest way to have full time 24-7 internet access? Most probably for an email only type network situation with occasional browsing. The full time requirement is for real time email all the time. Lets assume a minimum speed of 14400 bps.. I dont think 9600 exists anymore..

Go to the Telkom website, and under products choose Diginet. There are lots of details there about this sort of thing.

There is no cheap 24x7 access in this country thanks to Telkom, unless you consider ADSL - or perhaps find an ISP who offers analogue (33.6kbps) leased-line access.

a 56k leased line is actually more expensive than adsl so idf you can live with the 3gig cap then thats your answer but that is by no means cheap

ADSL would be the closest you will get but there is a problem because you get a dynamic IP address you can't have a an MX on our side you would have to have a mailserver off of the network.
Tex was taken so Default it is....

You need a company that does mail hosting on their servers.

The company I work with does this, we register your domain (if you want) and you just dial-up using one of our internet dialups that goes through Internet Solutions.

Let me know if you're niterested
