Smallest WindowsXP Installation

Post by Prometheus »

:?: Hi all I was wondering what is the minimum amount of hard drive space you would need to install WinXP and i mean remove all features not essential to the operation of WinXp?

Thanks in advance

If you shredded it and unsinstalled all the optional components and deleted especially the help files, you could prolly get it down to 700Megs, no prob (imho)
I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes.

I guess you could get it down to 700Mb by leaving out all optional components, but wouldn't that be pointless? It would be almost just like Win 2000...
