Hi everyone
Im looking to build up a new pc as my pc has become older than me... Ive looked at alot of different combinationas and so on and have decided on the below to start with. I would just like to ask some advice before I go ahead and buy something im going to regret or not use to its full potential. I am not looking for a serious gaming machine but just something decent that won't give me any problems and still be able to use for an occasion gaming session. Is the below mentioned hardware a good choice or is it a bit overboard for what I want to use it for?
MSI AMD A88XM GAMING MOTHERBOAR SOCKET FM2+
AMD A8 6600K QUAD CORE PROCESSOR
2 x CORSAIR VALUE SELECT DDR3 1600Mhz 4GB
COOLER MASTER 450 GX II SERIES 450w PSU
GIGABYTE AMD R7 250 OVERCLOCKED GRAPHICS CARD 2GB
I want to buy new hardware but dont know what to choose

What is your price range?
Do you already have a monitor? What resolution are you going to be gaming at?
Do you already have a Windows licence?

Re: I want to buy new hardware but dont know what to choose
This is a late reply since I am not too active. GDI already asked important questions so I will just post 2 specs. 1 is recommended as a minimum and the other is something that looks to be more along your budget.
i5 4460
8gb ram
z97 board
geforce 750ti
600w psu
harddrive, dvd drive, mouse and keyboard etc is all up to you. As for the spec you posted the 4gb might be too little at this day and age. The FM cpus aren't perticularly powerful.

Because I only happened to see it sitting in the queue the other day and cleared it.
