Re: GOG/Gamersgate Specials
I'm just looking back at a few of my games that I bought because I never got to play it and in the end I didn't bother playing it because it was no longer what I was looking for or hoping for. I bought system shock 2 because I never played it (except the demo) and never got to experience it. But it has lost that appeal over time perhaps or it was never my style to begin with.

Re: GOG/Gamersgate Specials
So this weekend GoG has a 60% off EA ...*vomits* sale.
http://www.gog.com/promo/ea_weekend_promo_030513
Now see the problem I have here is these are some good games listed, but why oh why FFS does it have that logo attached to them? I'm torn between buying the games I never finished or got to play and supporting a publisher that gives a crap about people who bought their games. I won't be surprised if they somehow found a way to add microtransactions or dlc to games sold 15 years ago.
But hey, Alpha centauri, Medal of honor (THE GOOD ONE!) and ultima are all there for the choosing.

Re: GOG/Gamersgate Specials
I'm thinking AC, MoH, U9 but those games are very very outdated. I'm affraid if I play them I will never look at them in the way I wanted them all those years ago.

Re: GOG/Gamersgate Specials
Something weird has happened... This is on GoG today for $10:
http://www.gog.com/gamecard/rayman_origins
Why is that so weird you ask? Well just look, it is a Ubisoft game. They don't have the best track record as far as PC gamers are concerned. But man this title is worth it so I am thinking maybe I should flex my DRM free muscle and let my credit card take a bite at it. It should not be dismembered now that the Rand has recovered a slight bit.

I've developed a tradition of playing Fallout 2 on New Year's Day every year. I heart Fallout 2, and Fallout 2 hearts me.
What do you mean by "click?" You don't really "get into" those games?StarBound wrote:And yes I cannot click any of those. Gonna buy Battleworlds Kronos.
