6/10 I still enjoyed parts of it
Haha, at least some viewers are enjoying it...somewhat lol...
I viewed 3 films over the weekend...
Zombie Apocalypse DC - Low Budget zombie flick starring Ving Rhamse. It had some potential and a few cool zombie ideas. I also liked how they were careful of the enviroment they were in and acted like a proper survival group...a few themes were stolen from The Walking Dead. However, the film is let down by disasterous CGI, acting and eventual flow/plot of the story, making it stale.
Devils of War - Another low budget feature involving a group of soldiers who have to stop an evil Nazi general from raising demonic soldiers. Yes, this is the flick I viewed haha. It was really bad, however I did like certain parts of the cinematography and camera views. So it was more of an information watch per se, as everything else about the film brought it down and was beyond terrible.
Lastly, Lord of the Flies (1990) - I viewed this film MANY a year ago, so I felt a rewatch was in order! I really enjoyed it, though I did wish it a little longer to give us more depth on the different characters, as it does seem kinda rushed at times. Upon finishing the picture, I did some reading and found there was a '63 version of the movie too, one with much better reviews than the later addition. Track it down and give it a watch I need too!
