no signal after installing gpu please help

High guys I have a problem I just got my new HD 6670 but when i installed it I get no signal from my screen but when i remove the gpu and put the display connector back in the mobo the display works fine. I have uninstalled my hd drivers and changed my bios to disable the hd drivers "from peg/igp to peg/pci" another thing is that even when i'm in peg/pci mode my igp still works.

intel core i3 540
foxconn h55mxv
6gb ram
using dvi output

Do you get any signal either analog or digital from your mobo with the installed card?
Have you disabled cpu gfx from your bios?
Have you changed your main display in windows to radeon?

I don't get any signal I don't even get a beep at start up all that happens is the computer starts but nothing on screen neither digital or analog the screen just shuts down. The on settings in bios is peg/igp, igp, peg/pci, pci/igp.

The card is properly plugged into the pci-e slot right? The ram brackets aren't blocking the card from going in properly right? While your card is plugged in and pc turned on did you try to change your cable between the onboard and the card?

It's plugged in right. Ram brackets nowhere near the card.

Do you hear your windows start up sound when your system is booted? My guess from the igp/pci setting might be that when not gaming or not having set your screen to which ever one you want that it first uses the onboard for everything.

Do you have 2 cables? Does your screen have 2 inputs. Try to have your card installed, have a cable from your onboard to your screen and a cable from your gfx card to your screen, then change the source and see what happens.

Does the card have a mini HDMI port? A friend of mine had an issue where the card defaulted to the mini HDMI because it conflicted with the integrated audio.

My pc makes no beeps at startup. I tried the 2 cables but still nothing. yes the gpu has a mini hdmi port but I don't have a hdmi connector.

Disable your onboard audio and see what happened when you then run the card.

I've disabled the audio and tried the card in another pc and it worked I also tried a friends one in my pc and it works.

I know that feel bro.

When the PCI-E slot on my last PC was dying it would randomly refuse to boot up, but if you kept powering down and powering on eventually it would boot. Then would go for a few days just fine before starting again.

I tested every component in my PC and they all worked, even the damn PCI-E slot, so I was baffled when it would happen for months until one day it finally just gave up...

That's sad and I am gonna guess you don't have the money to replace the board. Is the board still under warrenty? Can they repair or must it be replaced?
