Resident Evil: Retribution.

What did you say about it Molean? You liked it and it was one of the best in the series?

Well, it was the worst in the series. By far. By very very far. It was completely horrible. The worst acting I have seen in a very long time in a movie of this stature. This series is one where every sequel gets progressively worse, from the very good first one to the pile of poop of the last one.

Milla Jovovich was brilliant I thought in The Fifth Element and it seems now that she will never be as good as she was in that.

Haha, oh yes. I am fair as possible when reviewing, and know when I have viewed a bad film.

As far as Star Trek 2 is concerned, Alice Eve's roll is that of the mother of Kirks child in The Wrath of Khan.... Could this be the story about how he first got sent to Ceti Alpha V? Though Cumberbatch talks about vengeance in the trailer.

By the way, I have watched 1 episode of Sherlock starring Cumberbatch and I think he should do a good job!

Haha, I was actually fair as I may not like the franchise, but I won't shoot the movie down for that reasoning alone. If I notice any faults about the film or something that certain viewers may/may not like, I will point it out regardless of how I feel towards what I viewed.

I think it was a prosthetic with a mix of CGI depending on the shot...I for one liked it, bringing further realism to the character...

It didn't look realistic at all.
Clu from Tron Legacy was more realistic

Talking about not realistic: baby Renesmee from Breaking dawn part duh!

Watched Skyfall.

I enjoyed it a lot. Large plot, great bad guy, lots of nods to Bond movies gone by, etc, etc. Definitely one of the best Bond movies and a fitting 50th anniversary.

Liked most things. SFX were really good, especially Smeagol.

The movie also made me realise that LoTR was a really heavy. Hobbit was like a breath of fresh air in comparison.

Nothing much not to like, but it didn't blow me all the way to the moon, just about 85% there.

BTW, I saw it in 24fps 2D.

I watched a fun gamer film the other day titled "Video Game High School" it is cheesey, but most gamers should get quite a kick out of it. FYI if any have watched the Youtube series of the same name, this is a collection of those clips assembled into a 2hr long movie.

I also viewed, "House at the end of the Street" a silly, silly horror if you can even call it that.
And then I went old school with, "The Last Boy Scout" a fun '91 action film with an enjoyable teaming of Bruce Willis and Damon Wayans, directed by the late Tony Scott.

apparently "The Hobbit - the movie" is only about a third of the book with a new sub story line mixed into the movie...
will have to see it for myself and see if i can stay awake through the whole +-3 hrs of the movie...

^^ The aforementioned "sub storyline" isn't new; anyone who has read Tokein's Lord of the Rings appendices will be familiar with it.

I preferred "The Lord of the Rings".

The twelve[?] volume History of Middle Earth, comprising titles such as "The Lays of Beleriand" and "The Book of Lost Tales" is mandatory reading for Middle Earth afficionados. You know who you are,

If you thought that the battles in The Lord of the Rings were spectacular....

Given the right combination of director and actors, I would like to see a film version of Guy Gavriel Kay's "The Fionavar Tapestry"

haven't read the appendices or the books of The Lord of the Rings... find them too boring, same goes for the Games of Thrones (books and series)...

Don't get me wrong, LoTR is till number 1. It was just nice to have some light humor in the mix.
