Have you ever thought what it actually costs to have, and maintain your PC? TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) was made so that you can have the best, fastest, and most energy efficient PC. Have a look, it may just be worth your while.

You lost me at ASUS Z77 models are about $15 more than those from other brands.

Sorry but even though I own a Rampage 4 Extreme I am still a fan of MSI. The only thing that keeps the R4E from being the ultimate motherboard is the lack of a Xonar chip for its sounds. Besides Asus is still more expensive than any other brand on the market and power consumptions are higher than MSI and just lower than gigabyte.
