Re: Telkom planning to upgrade 384k users
Thanks Ron. Back to my issue with telkoms.
I must have worst luck. Called again. And the guy again didn't know what reset your adsl profile meant?
Also the menu system seems to have changed between the first time I called and the last. Second time was asked to enter my phone number first time I had to press one if uvwas calling from the number related to the problem.
Both times i called in the evening so I want to try again during the day. Any thoughts? Has anyone else had issues like this with telkoms.

Has anyone had issues with getting through to Telkom call centre reps who didn't know what they were doing?DeathStrike wrote: Has anyone else had issues like this with telkoms.
Did you really just ask that?
Re: Telkom planning to upgrade 384k users

when you phone them next tell them you had a look on telkoms website and it said you have a 1Mb line but when you check the sync speed is only shows 384k down. they will do the rest.DeathStrike wrote:Thanks Ron. Back to my issue with telkoms.

That it is, my feeble 10gb cap just aint enough. It would be gone in a day if I decided to buy some games off steam

Connected @ 1Mbps. Sweet! Had a bit of an idiot moment by forgetting about doing the line verification thing. Got a bit frustrated for a second there.

Re: Telkom planning to upgrade 384k users
I clocked down from uncapped to 35GB, on a 4mb, and I still am yet to cap that account...
Just exactly what do you guys do online?

Re: Telkom planning to upgrade 384k users
Don't know. Just the idea of freedom makes it appealing. Almost convinced my boss to get uncapped for about R50 more than what we pay for 5GB cap, even though we never run out.
Plus, I live stream TV and watch videos and so forth.
