Compare the bench marks for both those cards, also see if anyone has done a 3D comparison.
I'd personally wait for the 660 from Nvidia, see how that compares.
And please consider using punctuation and correct gramatical structure, it is difficult to read a paragraph if it is written as one long continous sentence.

The only reason I'm even replying is to point out how stupid an attitude that is. If you can't be bothered to ask a question using decent spelling and grammar, most of us here can't be bothered to give you an answer

Okay, I think he gets the picture. Please reserve further replies for answering his question if you read it.

The 27" version of the screen is called the Samsung S27A950D. AMD radeons are better suited for that screen.
If your looking to properly use nvidias 3D vision you will need a 3D vision approved screen. Link here for benchmark.
The Samsung can run 3D for both AMD and nvidia but nvidia has to go through Tri-Defs driver.

I'm sorry guys my spelling and grammar isn't the best, I work in a kitchen not behind a desk so I know it SUCKS a bit(A LOT). But will check everything from now on.
@ Monty first of all I want to apologize for being rude, I would love to get the 660 but it’s a bit pricey,
also I have compared some bench tests but come up with conflicting results.
Some say NVIDIA is better because it been in the 3d game for longer and has 3dvision others say AMD will work better with the screen because it would allow the screen to run at 120hz instead of 60hz for NVIDIA.
The screen uses tri-def, has its own set of 3d glasses.
I was just wondering if anyone who has had some experience with this kind of setup could help me out.

Ok thank you starbound I know you've said it before, I just want to make sure of everything is perfect for this new rig.
I'm going to put allot of money down for it so I want to make sure everything runs at 100% without hiccups.

I would choose a better card before getting a screen that is going to tax the card you have. Then in the future, when you can afford it, get the screen.

Cool, sorry if I was rude.
Based on what SB said, and your own findings that AMD cards can run the 120Hz refresh rate, I'd be looking at an AMD card.
A quick search shows that nVidia seems to require workarounds.

Re: is nvidia or amd better for 3d
yeah I guess that kinda makes sense, what is the going rate for a 660 at the moment
Re: is nvidia or amd better for 3d
No worries syKomantis, guess i didn't get a big enough dose of caffeine this morning.
The only thing thats making me second guess AMD is because I've never used a amd card before and i am a major NVIDIA fanboy but I'll have to get over it then.
