I've decided it is time to finally purchase a solid PSU that I am not going to have to worry about giving me problems. I have my eye on picking up this Seasonic from Sybaritic (http://www.sybaritic.co.za/store/produc ... s_id=47405) to power my pretty basic system; E2140, 2 hdds, 7600GT, 2 sticks DDR2, the watt calculators I've used say it is more than enough power wise. Seasonic PSU's appear to be highly recommended and always a go to but I haven't found too much information about this lower end of the spectrum model.
Anyone have experience with HEC PSU's?

Good for my budget and HEC does appear on a few "Reputable/Trusted brands" lists from what I have seen.

I have an Aerocool E85M(550W) at the moment which is pretty much just a re-badged HEC. I feel that it is pretty well made, got decent components, runs cool, voltage and current are pretty stable(80+ bronze certified) and it is modular.Jikiness wrote:I've decided it is time to finally purchase a solid PSU that I am not going to have to worry about giving me problems. so yes nothing wrong with HEC, but why not rather go for more than 450W so that if you have to upgrade you wont need to replace the PSU
