GPU Brand

Hi,

I would like to know is "Sparkle" http://www.sparkle.com.tw/ a good brand or should i rather stay away?
Intel i7 @ 3.8Ghz
Gigabyte UD3 rev.2
6Gig DDR3 Corsair Dominators @ 1600
Win 7 64bit

I had a Sparkle 8800GTS once upon a while. No worse or better than the majority of the other brands in my opinion.

I am looking at this card http://www.sparkle.com.tw/product_detai ... sub_id=427 and since its not a rev card i am not sure about the quality... and i cant find any reviews on sparkle gtx500 series gpus

I'm an MSI fan especially when it comes to the twin frozer range. Gigabyte windforce is a good alternative imo.

Did your Inno3D GTX570 break, or are you looking at Sli?

The first thing to look at is the warranty period. I'm not sure what Sparkle's is. It is different for each country it seems. With GFX cards, they are all of reasonable quality as far as I know these days. Had a Sparkle Geforece 7100GS that is still working in the pc I sold. That is like 5 or 6 years now. As long as the warranty is something like 2 years or more, you'd at least be safe for that period.
