Just My 5cents worth over here.......but we have 2 or more SP servers in a farm running a Company wide Intranet as well as individual DMS sites for each dept. which is used for collaboration, project management & DMS. We also have MS Dynamics and a central Lync Server which integrates into Office and our MS Dynamics(CRM) as well as SP.
We also use every product of the MS Systems Center Suite for various things.......and you know what..... it all intergrates and works like a dream.

That is because it is set up correctly and optimised. There are amazing things you can do with Sharepoint - I have recently seen the most complex systems working flawlessly with one another - worldwide.

Isn't it amazing how a whole lot of systems (not just IT stuff) seem to just work well when that is the case and it gets managed well?Tribble wrote:That is because it is set up correctly and optimised.

A surprising amount of modern pseudoscience is coming out of the environmental sector. Perhaps it should not be so surprising given that environmentalism is political rather than scientific.

Re: Sharepoint & Alternatives
Oh..trust me....It took me a good couple of months working on everything so that it could play nicely and I'm still busy with some of it. But once it works, there is no denying how well it works
