How many times have you alone asked this?Ron2K wrote:What's your budget looking like?
Yeah dude, can't help you much without one.
Your own suggestion is pretty good. You will gain some speed in some games, but the biggest advantage will be your multitasking ability and maybe some from the pseudo turbo mode.
Rest is solid. Only other to look at at some point would be the GPU, but that GTX460 should still be pretty much up to the task for now.

Re: Suggestions
Why not go for a phenom 2 x4? Very little games uses more than 4 cores and as this is AMD its not the best performance your gonna get anyway.
Re: Suggestions
scrap that. deepcool v6000s take up 4 slots, so not compatible. need an alternative. suggestions?

My suppliers replaced the 1090T with the 1100T. Looks like the 1090T might be discontinued soon.Hellfury wrote:I currently have the following pc

Your case tbh could be bit better to match rest of your parts. The Coolermaster HAF-X provides pretty nice cooling for gpus with vga duct which can take an additional fan and the 200mm side fan also blows nicely over the gpus. Unless you're planning to overclock the hell out of your gpus the airflow of the HAF-X should be sufficient to cool the gpus.
