Backing up your game saves

Post by StarPhoenix »

I came across this advice elsewhere and thought I'd share it with you. 'Cos I'm cool that way. And stuff.

Use GameSave Manager in conjunction with DropBox, or an ftp server if that's how you roll, to make protecting your hours' worth of gaming from power outages, data corruption, cataclysmic hard drive failure, or you kid brother/sister/parent/spouse/jealous significant other a little easier.

Hope this helps.

I'm crying inside. Just last week I had to start a fresh install because of drive failure. This seems to work for GFWL games, but it's not going to help me now. :(

For some Steam games there's Steam Cloud.
