Wanted to start the Night Angel trilogy but my brother hijacked my books
So I'm reading East of the sun west of the moon or some such by John Ringo that is rather good

Re: Reader's Corner
My sister bought the entire Game of Thrones series.
She's already on book 3 and I'm in a dilemma.
Do I start reading the books, or do I carry on watching Farscape
I think I'll start book 1 a few weeks before season 2 then if I enjoy the books more I'll keep going and if I enjoy the series more I'll read the books after each corresponding season is done

Re: Reader's Corner
I have started reading "The Art of the Infinite" [non-fiction] by Ellen and Robert Kaplan. So far, I can recommend it.
I didn't see Stephen Baxter in that list either. Time to have my eyes checked?

Over the last couple of days I read Byleveld: Dossier of a Serial Sleuth. While it is arguably one of the most ridiculous book titles I have come across it was actually a rather interesting read. The man is actually a very thorough and intelligent investigator. Which, of course, only highlights the clumsiness of most of South Africa's police force.

Have started with Modisitt's The Imager Portfolio series and loving it. Word of caution - it takes a while to get into the detail...
"Integrity" and "integer" both contain a Latin root meaning "whole; complete." The root sense, then, is that people may be said to be acting with integrity when their beliefs, words, and actions have a sense of unity or wholeness.

Reading Maximum Offence by David Gunn from the Death's Head series. Sven is a freaking briliant character. Guess the world will be rather interesring if people were that direct

Latest Grisham (The Litigators) was reasonably entertaining. Not riveting, but it kept me reading.

On the 5th of December 2011, the artist Darrell K. Sweet passed away.
Over last decade or so, I developed a strong dislike for his work, especially the Wheel of Time Art. Yet as I look back over his body of work, I realize that it ( his art) drew me to many of the books I’ve enjoyed over the years. I hope that the last book in the Wheel of Time series will bear his mark as well.
I bought this book because the art reminded me a lot of the Wheel of Time
I love the cover art of this one.
A few days before Christmas, Brandon Sanderson announced that he has finished writing the final book of the Wheel of Time series, A Memory of Light. The book is expected to be released later this year.

45. I will make sure I have a clear understanding of who is responsible for what in my organization. For example, if my general screws up I will not draw my weapon, point it at him, say "And here is the price for failure," then suddenly turn and kill some random underling.

A Memory of Light
A Memory of Light is the name given to the fourteenth and final novel of The Wheel of Time. It was due for publication in late 2011, however Brandon Sanderson estimates that after several rounds of revision that it won't be published until Fall of 2012.

Re: Reader's Corner
I am still hoping that I can pick up the entire Wheel of Time collection cheaply for my Kindle some day.
I have started reading "The Name of the Wind" by Patrick Rothfuss, but am making rather heavy weather of it.
