What to do with Dot Matrix Printers?

Hi Guys,

I am not in anyway trying to sell this on here, so before a mod gets excited and moves it to the Classified section please hear me through.

We all know that Dot Matrix is not widely used, but rather only used in certain companies for specialised jobs. My company until recently used Dot Matrix Printers all over the show and now we have moved to Laser Printers. What do I do with these printers now? I have an E-Waste Recycler, but I think it would be nice to sell or even give away working dot matrix machines?

Does anyone know where I could sell these machines? If not where would you suggest I donate this machines too? This is the second time I have had to deal with this scenario (two separate companies) and I am sure this information would be helpful to others who find themselves in a similar situation.

I see some clothing companies still use them (in stores for stock).

Perhaps approach Rotary or the Lions and see if they can use them or know of someone who can.

I'm interested, though i'll be honest, I'm probably going to strip them down for the parts rather than use them...

Well where are you based prime, if I cannot find a place to sell them I may very well donate it to you, if it is economical of course (I am in Durban)
