i was running my rig on 500W, cpu OC'd to 5 Ghz, gpu OC'd to maximum limits (1000/1250) allowed by Afterburner, and i stressed the system and it ran fine:)

Funny because this popped into my mind when recommending a pc to a friend. The calculator value was low. But another friend had issues with her 500w on an i7 with 560ti.

i used a consumption calculator and it reported i was using 485ish (cant remember the exact figure) Watts at 90% load on the cpu.
