How about a little more info? Whats the problem? Whats your driver version?

Re: SC2 and GTX 285
it is not for me though, i forgot to add that, i am waiting for the logs to put it up here, basically it boils down to the GPU and SC2 not being compatible, we have tried every driver version, some more than a year old, and what happens is that it will play ok for a few minutes anf then it just crashes, the gamre slows down quite a lot, and then the screen goes black or simply crazy and then drops back to the desktop.
i cant recall the exact error it gives, but it is something about page pool memory error - as soon as i have the log files, i will put them up here..... we also put in the previous GPU, a 9800GT and that works prefectly, which is why we believe it is an issue between the 285 and SC2

Re: SC2 and GTX 285
Here are some fixes for you...

http://www.gamingreality.com/2010/07/st ... g-fix.html
Take a read through some of them and see if they match your friends system and try the fixes. As a side note try reducing the memory clock speed to see if that helps. Also run this GPU memory checker to see if there might be errors on his GPU memory:

Just throwing ideas out, no idea on his specs or anything else so its a hit and miss for now...
