SA greets
Hey all,
Just to see who is interested. Due to my aquiring work I should be arriving in SA for a bit around the 10th of august. it is all still a bit provisional but who wants to meet?

True, will probably have a lay over in joburg, just a few hours or so, depends on what tickets I can swing. Should have said earlier. Will then be flying to Durbs.

good luck with the JHB crew... they literally couldn't organise a party in a brewery, (doo_much could, but he's generally partying in any case...)

A surprising amount of modern pseudoscience is coming out of the environmental sector. Perhaps it should not be so surprising given that environmentalism is political rather than scientific.

Well seeing as Gautrain will be running to PTA by then, you can just pop over to the Airport, have a quick one or two and then wizz back again before the kids' movie is finished??

Lol - Travel to Airport = R125 one way - so I think not. I would rather drink that amount than use it on a train. But I will be taking it to Hatfield when I need to see a client. They are just across the road from the station. Then you could join me afterwards and we could have lunch at the Dros which is a short walk away.

Why would need a waste of money like that? Instead we get a toll road to fund the Eastern Cape's road...

Dude, you live in South Africa. Be inventive! Steal some tires from a wheel barrow, hook your steering column up via some poles and a monkey wrench and your sorted. If you dont have the solar panels yet then hook a diesel genny up to a boat motor and your hundreds! Do it Top Gear style!

Re: SA greets
OK, things have finally settled down and I have answers. I will sadly not be going to joburg. The best ticket I could get was to Durban from Dubai so I am not passing through Joburg. As for Durbs people I would not mind a meet anyway.
KK, my job is in Thailand. I just have to go through SA to get everything sorted as it is being arranged by an SA company.
