Hi guys
I downloaded IE9 because IE 8 annoyed me with some message that came up on nearly every webpage i visited about
only show secure content.
But now IE 9 has that stupid download manager and everytime i download something an choose run it says
Unspecified Error everytime and with everything. Any Ideas how to fix that cos I dont want to save everything

Install IE 7 and update it. Or better still, get the newest Opera.

Dude, NO. you come here for advice. Take it.
Installing another browser won't slow down your computer. Installing 10 browsers won't slow down your computer. Assuming you're using only one at a time. And just so you know, chrome and firefox are much quicker than Internet Explorer so as far as you're concerned, installing another browser will in fact speed up your computer and not make it slower.
P.S. Looking at your specs, I don't see how you're complaining about speed. All you need is probably a format-reload. You shouldn't be complaining about speed with your specs.

If that machine is giving you speed issues you have bigger problems than IE9.
