A lot of problem solving, cute storyline but nothing complex, moving between about 5 different worlds (rooms in Braid) with a bunch of levels per world...

EDIT: And let me just add I love the graphics. The in-level backgrounds, for example, look almost painted.

Ah, okay. I love the visuals too. Perhaps I'll play it after I finish Thief. :)

I've finished it... My head felt like it was going to explode at certain points of the game, but I've finished it. Only took me 2 days.

Started playing Dirt 3. They listened to the complaints and took out a lot of Ken Block and American stuff, however now the game feels kinda lonely. None of the other drivers are taunting you or cheering at you. It's still very beautiful and tons of fun. It just leaves you feeling a bit empty lol.

Started playing Sniper Ghost Warrior last night. Took about 2.5 hours just to install.... The only thing that actually installs from the setup on the DVD is Steam... Then I registered my CD key on Steam and thus added the game to it. Then the id10t system that Steam is wanted to start downloading the game... but.... but I have a DVD with the media why does it want to download anything.... checked on DVD... oooh it is sid files, whatever that might be.... google to find out WTH sid files are and found out that they are Steam backup files.... googled some more and found out how to reload a game from Steam backups... tried to start up the game again.... oooh noes game has 1gb worth of updates to do.... wasted another hour or so trying to download the update.... finally started playing at 21h15.... and finally decided that I truly HATE Steam.... yes folks it is official.... My first game that uses Steam and I HATE the thing already. Not the game just Steam..

The game is fun... First mission sees you trying to find a nice sniper spot to take out a drug lord. Funnily enough just as you actually send his fatness into oblivion an oil tank at the refinery explodes and (story driven) you mis the shot. All hell breaks loose and you are forced to stealthily take down almost everyone in the oil refinery as you are instructed to follow the escape vehicle even after your character told the lady voice on the radio that you don't have a chance of following them without compromising cover and some such. So you take out the refinery as best you can and you go in the last known direction of the vehicle. Once on the other side you get a report of (yeah you guessed it) a fellow sniper team being compromised. Finally someone listens and cancels the operation, arranges for extraction and informs you of possible avenues of engagement. You get to the extraction point and heaven above wonder another surprise... but I will leave that for those interested to find out.

Last game I had that was a proper sniping game was Sniper Elite. And truth be told I think this is actually better (From a first look perspective and story aside). The flight path of the projectiles are actually influenced by the weather and I even had a bullet reflected off a tree trunk to hit someone all by accident. So I am duly impressed regarding the game mechanics. Graphics is more than decent with lots of texture details, nice water effects. Graphically the only thing that bothers me is the smoke but I haven't started the game up in DX10 mode yet so I will have a look tonight and see. The AI is actually really good. You can't just kill someone and think no one will notice. Take out the last guy trailing behind a patrol silently and expect them to notice and come looking for you. Take out a guy in one tower, watch his body fall, when someone on another tower looks for him but does not see him expect trouble. Best to take out towers as quickly as possible and also eliminate patrols quickly before they turn around and notice someone is gone. The foliage cover is also next to brilliant. If someone notices your position due to a muzzle flash you can run into the woods so to speak, drop down and crawl between some bushes, remain silent for a while and wait for them to walk right past you for a minute or 10 and cancel any alarms.

Oh and it has a Bullet CAM which just adds to the fun.

Edit: And I almost forgot it uses Chrome Engine 4

Love Dead Rising! Still struggling through Crysis 2. Not difficult, but rather difficult to enjoy :p

Cannot wait for Duke Nukem. Spent most of my childhood playing Duke Nukem 3D.

Woo Project Zomboid looks rather interesting!
I knoes what you mean aboot Crysis 2, it did get a bit more enjoyable when I started fighting the aliens...

I am really keen for Dungeon Siege 3, need my hack and slash RPG fix and keen for Duke, though not expecting anything great from it...old school Duke Nukem was the best and will probabaly remain that way...

True that about Duke. Maybe, just maybe it will be better than expected.

Got me Gta4 on special from BT games, so I'm running around killing some other guys online in Liberty City.

I started playing it and have no real complaints about the keyboard/mouse. The game is jaw dropping. The detail is bad however it's still so beautiful. This game shows how far behind consoles are to PCs

It feels and looks the same. Although I can't run it in DX11 mode as I'm still using a 8800GTX, so can't really comment too much about the graphics.
