It's my boss again.
He showed me that his Windows 7 task bar, which he has moved to the right hand side of his screen is not auto-hiding, so he cannot click on the close, minimise or restore buttons in the title bat of whatever application he is using.
The task bar is not locked and auto-hide is enabled. Have any of you experienced the same thing, and if so, how did you solve the problem?

Turn autohide off and dismiss the dialog
then turn it back on. see if it works.

I don't get why people don't just leave it at the bottom.
When I was in desktop support and I got requests like these I'd tell them that it is not a valid support request as nothing is technically broken - they can move it back the way it was and functioning - or Live with it.

@Soujorn: The boss says that having it on the side makes better use of the space on his 24 inch LCD display.

Ja, I tried that for a little while this week and hated it.StarPhoenix wrote:@Soujorn: The boss says that having it on the side makes better use of the space on his 24 inch LCD display.

Close your eyes and count to 10. When you open your eyes say out loud, "ready or not here I come" It should be hiding now.
