New member intros here!!

Post by Stuart »

That was actually directed at our old new member, but welcome to the fold anyway. Follow KK's example and you'll be fine. She's only been banned once.

Ok, so in light of it being my three month anniversary on the forums and the end of the world apparently, suppose today is as good a time as any to introduce myself.

I love rhinos, hence my avvie and believe the poachers should also be de-horned...

I'm a full time worker and part time student, doing my BTh (Theology) through UNISA. Yes, I'm a Christian and strive to live as such, although at times it does become very difficult. I'm not planning on becoming a preacher, doing the degree out of interest on the subject.

Got married 31 December 2010 to the most wonderful lady and enjoying the married life more every day. (Against her will she is now able to name every component in my pc, but still strugling to understand what they all do. :D )

Have always had an interest in PC's, but it is starting to become a passion, which neither my wife or my bank account seem to understand or approve of :?:

And to all the people that have helped me over the last three months, a big thank you!

So that are liking to be a brief history of I.

Welcome Pilgrim. Tell your wife I'll be sending through a pop quiz on computer components on Monday. You know, if the world doesn't end.

For your entrance exam, name the books of the Bible in correct order please. No cheating now.

Mousey - leave the poor guy alone! We all had to memorise those books at Sunday School - both the old and new testaments. Mrs Robinson was here name - she must have been 90+, and she drummed those books into us. Never did me any good though.

Welcome to J4p13 and Pilgrim - enjoy your stay here - seeing that the world didn't end. Darn I waited till after midnight but nothing happened. Would have been interesting to see who was left here.

Anyway = see J4p13 has got a hold on the spam games - really impressed. Often takes people a long time to get into that. Glad to have more players.

Hahaha. Yes. J4p13 is l33t for my real name, Japie. I don't think it is a very common name (other than for Afrikaans South Africans). Although, alot of friends searching for me on Facebook to tend to find alot of Arabs with my same name and surname. lol.

I have endured many years of school children singing "Japie my skapie" as I walked by in the passageways or wherever, but I have grown very fond of my name, and hence use it as an screenname for IM's; online games; whatever. It is such a typical Afrikaner name, that no one ever guesses that it is my real name. lol.

Well, my spelling has the Official Wikipedia Stamp of Approval.

Also, your sig is about six times bigger than the allowed maximum size. Please correct it before The Red Hammer of Death comes down hard on you.

Hello there everyone!!! I`m new here, and it seems I rather love reading these forums, and I have become an addict in just one bloody day. PCFORMAT rules!! lol, been reading the magazine forever, I`m not exactly sure what to write here? Should I add a long life story, just my name, or maybe I should just indicate my favorite color and everybody can deduct my personality from that. :) .It`s green. lol. But thanks, and I hope i`ll be a part of this site for a long time to come.

Well unless you want a whole lot of guys chasing after you - your gender would be helpful. But just a caution - the kitten would be after you if the guys aren't. She is one of the few unattached females here.

Naah just teasing - your interests and what you do would help. Are you just mildly into PCs or an absolute fanatic? Do you game? If so - on what and what type. And most importantly - do you like cats or dogs? That should do for now......
