I have an Outlook Contacts list with several years worth of data that I need to "clean" for my boss open in Excel. I have already removed the exact duplicates using the "Remove Duplicates" button, but am still left with a substantial number
of similar records [e.g. record 1 has name and landline number, record 2 has name and cellphone number, etc]. Is there
any way I can combine these records using [preferably] Excel or, at worst, Access, and how would I do it.
My online searches have not been successful thus far....must be using the wrong search times.
Thank you

Re: Combining similar records
I have subsequently chatted to someone who professes to know Excel quite well about this.
This is something that is going to be easier for me to do manually, which is what I am doing now.

Re: Combining similar records
I might be able to do it for you in SAS.
