is it possible to run sharepoin service and/or sharepoint server on windows 7 ultimate 64bit?

has anyone tried it yet?

No the installer will not let you proceed.

Have a Google if you are dead set on doing it, there are some innovative ways of getting around the installer, but it's more headache that it's worth.

bleh...typical, just as soon as something looks good on paper......

but it looks like sharepoint 2010 to the rescue..... :mrgreen:
