Does anyone know of any freeware available to convert .wma or .mp3 files to .cda format to write music CD´s?

You are in luck coz I had the same prob a few months ago. There is this nifty bit of software that you can download from the Winamp website that actually writes out Mp3 to cd format. It can rip it straight to disc but I prefer first writing to a folder in you hard disc the burning to cd from there. Look it up under output plugins and its called Nullsoft Discwriter

on a similar note : i used to use mmjb to burn cd to mp3 ´s but now that i am using win2000 the old version won´t work and the new version is way to bulky to use & takes up too much space , has any body got some freeware to do this ?? <IMG SRC="images/forum/smilies/icon_smile.gif">

What software did you get with your writer? I got nero 5 with mine, and dloaded a plugin so that you can just drag the mp3´s to the disk in nero and it converts them to CDA format for you!

I can´t ´read CD´s to burn´ or copy direct from CD to CD in Clone CD or Easy CD Creator 5.
<BR>It says Can not Read Block 802...803...804 ect. Please help, I tried to reinstall windows (not format though) but it still does not work.
<BR>I am running win98.
