Facebook announced on its developer blog this weekend that it has suspended some application developers on a six month suspension after it was found that the unspecified devs were selling user data to data brokers. It was reported several weeks ago that some Facebook apps were retaining user IDs and transmitting them to third-party companies. Accroding to website CNET, Farmville was one of the culprits involved in the earlier announcement, as were the rest of the Top 10 apps on Facebook.
